Lake Tahoe vacation rentals can once again be rented come June 12th! There are several different sectors that are allowed to re-open so long as El Dorado County has implemented the developed safety plans by Friday. These sectors include: Entertainment film production, day camps, schools, restaurants and bars, gyms, galleries, hotels, casinos, campgrounds and of course Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. There are caveats to each sector re-opening so businesses within each industry will have to pay close attention/adhere to the guidelines set forth.
While COVID-19 is still a threat and not at all gone, the health and public safety protocols are in place at a lot of the local businesses throughout town. With the request of wearing masks, placements promoting social distancing, lower max capacity and frequently disinfecting surfaces and washing hands, locals and visitors alike will need to take personal responsibility to follow these to ensure new cases stay low. As a Lake Tahoe vacation rental company, we already have stringent cleaning guidelines in place. Additionally, we work with a lot of local different cleaning companies to make sure our visitors feel like they are staying in a clean and safe property. We will, of course, be building on our already high standards so that we can follow the guidelines for each sector. PLTG and Tahoe Property Services is committed to doing everything we can on our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Here is what we are doing to keep our employees, guests, and homeowners safe:
-All cleaning crews will be using EPA approved disinfectants, including Prokure V, which is a disinfectant, sanitizer, and virucide that has been approved for and shown to be effective against coronavirus.
-Cleaning crews will be opening doors and windows throughout each clean to allow for the air flow and circulation of fresh air into the home.
-Our cleaning staff will be tackling and focusing on all highly touched surfaces as part of every departure clean. This includes things such as light switches, doorknobs & handles, tables & dining chairs, countertops, faucets & sinks, phones, TV remotes, etc.
-Cleaning crews will be emptying their vacuums at the end of every clean to avoid any cross contamination from one property to another.
-Tahoe Property Services also owns a Vapor Clean Pro6 Duo. This is a steam clean/steam vapor machine that uses a combination of heat and high-pressure to create steam, which penetrates surface pores. We will be using this machine at any property where guests have exhibited signs & symptoms of the virus and it will be used in conjunction with an EPA approved disinfectant.
It is important to note that if you do have someone in your household who is sick, now is not the time to travel to vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe. Stay home and stay safe. If you are healthy and looking forward to enjoying the fresh mountain air, our beautiful lake and the local businesses and recreation available, it will be important that everyone follow the new health standards so that we can help prevent a second wave. We are thrilled to be welcoming our guests and visitors back to the lake!
We are already getting a lot of booking requests, so for those that are interested in booking vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe, feel free to give us a call. We would be happy to help!
